About Natasha Chernyavskaya: My Creative Path

Natasha Chernyavskaya

I am a Russian artist enjoying a wonderful life in San Francisco. I have been living in United States for a long short four years.

I am a freelance designer with over 15 years of experience in the creative field. My total experience in Journalism and Copywriting 15 years, Web Design experience – 10 years, Web Consulting experience – 6 years, Public Relations and Advertising experience – 5 years, Management experience – 7 years.

There is only one thing I love more than arts, and this is bringing joy to and creating value for people. This website is helping me turn my passion and my dream - serving people with joy and purpose - into reality.

My entire life has been about arts. I started drawing and painting before I started talking. Every technique I tried I succeed in. I was great at pencil drawing in my teens making portraits of my friends. At the same time I was very good in watercolor; and when I tried oil painting, I did very well, too.

Web design to me is not just another way to express my artistic talents, but also a great opportunity to use my left brain. I love analyzing, comparing, coming up with ideas about efficiency, and marketing. I am a thinker, and I believe it's valuable enough to be well paid.

I believe that a project must start with content. The content defines a web site structure, and the structure defines the way a web site will be navigated. Clear and simple navigation requires certain graphic and technical solutions. Content always shows the most efficient path to building a project. This is why I pay a lot of attention to the content itself, the wording, and the logic of the text model. Learn more about the web site development services in Website design section.

For my 13th birthday my mother's friend gave me a very simple camera and taught me about composition and exposure. I have not let a camera out of my hands since. People say I have an eye for noticing things other people would not notice. I love sewing, making jewelry, and stained glass painting. Often, I don't even need a pattern to recreate an accessory, jewel, or even apparel. I love the beauty of life. It is everywhere, and I have always been amazed by it. Life is not just phenomenal, it's beautiful! And all my creations are filled with beauty, harmony, and love.

I have a lot to tell about myself; let me just mention that back in Russia I used to be a radio DJ, journalist, chief editor of a magazine, PR manager. I translated a part of Stephen King's The Tommyknockers into Russian, worked as an English teacher in a middle school, a librarian, and an interpreter. I also have a degree in Medical Science. I have been a laboratory technician at a hospital, and also have experience in nursing and massage therapy.
